Requirements to Edit Image Collection in Kadence AI
Before we move forward, there are a few things that you need to know if you are just getting started with Kadence AI
- To use Kadence AI you will have to install either Kadence Blocks or Starter Templates plugin.
- After this you will have to connect your site with your free account on Kadence WP.
- Kadence AI is available for free users but you only get 250 AI credits / lifetime
- These credits are used when you ask AI to perform a task.
- Depending on content generation these AI credits will be used.
Keeping this in mind, once you are done installing the plugins mentioned above and have created an account, the next step is to activate Kadence AI.
Login to WordPress Dashboard
Assuming that you have the Kadence AI active, the first step in the process is to login to your WordPress dashboard.
For this you will have to visit https://your-domain.com/wp-admin and it will take you to the login page where you will have to enter your credentials and click Log In.
Please Note– In the above URL you will have to replace your-domain.com with your website’s domain name.
Visit Kadence AI homepage
On a successful login, the next step is to visit Kadence AI homepage. Below we have discussed the process for both the plugins.
Kadence Blocks
If you have enabled AI in Kadence Blocks then to visit the homepage you will to click Home under Kadence Blocks tab in the WordPress admin sidebar and it will take you to the homepage.
Here you will have to click Update Kadence AI Details option and it will take you to the Kadence AI wizard.
Kadence Starter Templates
In case you have enabled AI in Kadence Starter Templates then you will have to click Starter Templates under Appearance in the WordPress dashboard sidebar.
Doing this will show you all the starter templates generated using the information you have provided. Here you will have to click the Update Kadence AI Details option.
Clicking this option will take you to the Kadence AI wizard.
Before we move forward, there are a few things that you need to know.
- If you have both the Kadence Blocks and Starter Templates plugin installed then you will find the Starter Templates option under Kadence and not Appearance.
- Keep in mind, you can open the Kadence AI wizard to edit the image collection by visiting either the Kadence Blocks homepage or Starter Templates. It is up to you which option you choose.
- In case you are only using Kadence Starter Templates and the update Kadence AI details option is missing or you cannot find it then most liked you must have selected either Elementor or Block Editor in the dropdown. See the below screenshot for reference.
- Selecting Kadence AI in the dropdown above will show you the option to Update Kadence AI details
Head over to Photography section in Kadence AI
Once you are inside the Kadence AI wizard, the first set of options that you will come across is Your / Industry Information.
Here you will have to click Next and it will take you to the About Your Site section where you will have to provide a brief description about your website / online business.
Here you are required to click Next again.
On clicking Next, it will take you to the The Details sections where you must have selected a few keywords related to your website and chosen a tone for the content / text that will be generated by Kadence AI.
Just like above, you will have to click Next here and it will take you to the Photography section where you will see the Image Collections in Kadence AI wizard.
Edit Collection in Kadence AI
As you can see in the screenshot above, there are 2 image collections that you will come across in Kadence AI.
- Featured Images
- Background Images
The process to edit both the image collections is exactly the same and for this you will have to scroll down a little till you come across Edit Collection option.

In the next step you will have to click the Edit Collection option under any of the image collection (Featured or Background) that you want to edit.
For this tutorial we will be editing featured image collection in Kadence AI.
On clicking Edit Collection, it will take you to the Media Library where you will be able to Add or Remove images as per your requirements.
To Add Images in Kadence AI collection, you need to click Add to Collection and it will show you the option to select and upload files.
To remove images from Kadence AI collection, you will have to just click the x icon on the image you want to remove.
Once you are done editing the Kadence AI image collection, the next step is to click the Update Collection button and it will take you to the wizard where you need to click Save.
And that’s it you now know how to edit image collections in Kadence AI.
