Hey, when I tried to upload Elementor Pro to my wordpres, it said “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”
How is that possible?
Hi
I hope you are doing well and thank you for getting in touch.
Yes, this is an error that you can experience and the best way to resolve it is to go to your hosting support and ask them to increase this value.
They will make a few changes in the php.ini file and it will solve the problem for not just Elementor but other plugins as well.
Let me know how this goes.
Thank You
Jasmeet
Hi Jasmeet
I am a newbie trying to set up my own boot-strap budget website for my start-up. I am very concerned about migration and so I understand using wordpress platform will allow me for future migration of the website. I came across Elementor Pro while searching and found it easy to use. Can you kindly guide me, I am planning to host with Hostinger with a wordpress hosting and intend to make a purchase of the elementor pro @$59.00 as a plugin to design my website. What are your comments on this choice ? Please help. Thank you
Hi Phil
Hope you are doing well and thank you for getting in touch.
I have used Hostinger a while back and it is a good affordable option.
You can use it and build your site using Elementor and Hello theme and there should be no problem.
But, keep in mind, in Hostinger plans you will see quite a few features say unlimited and in reality these are not really unlimited. You can read their terms for that, there is a limit to it.
Also, to get the maximum discount, you will have to pay for 3 years in advance (generally this is the case with most companies offering big discounts). In case you decide to go for a lower term then you will notice a significant increase in pricing.
Apart from this, on renewal there is another price hike and that is nearly 4x to 5x the discounted price.
Another thing, the free domain name that you will get from Hostinger is only for one-year and you will have to pay for the renewal next year. Other than that on cancellation within the 30-day period, you will not get a refund for the domain name which means you will get the amount you have paid (-) domain name cost.
Coming to the next option that is Elementor hosting,
Elementor has its own WordPress hosting that comes with WordPress and Elementor Pro pre-installed (you do not have to pay anything for the plugin, you get all the features), you get free SSL and CDN comes built-in and more. This service basically takes care of the behind the scenes tasks for you.
Keep in mind, with Elementor Hosting you do not get a free domain and email which means you will have to pay extra for the domain name (generally costs somewhere between $9 to $15) and for the professional email you can use a free service initially like Zoho.
The next thing you need to know is that, Elementor hosting does not come with a cpanel and you only get access to database. There are plenty of file manager plugins in the WordPress repo, however, we have not tested this at all. We will suggest that you contact Elementor for this.
Next is the initial offering and renewals, Elementor is very transparent with the pricing and features included. On renewals you do not experience a huge price hike and it is more digestible.
As you can see there are Pros and Cons to both, it depends on your requirements which one you should go for.
If you have any more questions, feel free to let us know. Hope you have found this helpful.
Thank You
Jasmeet
