Elementor 3.11 Update
Before we learn more about Elementor 3.11, it is important to know that- this update was released on February 13th 2023.
And below are the topic covered.
Copy and Paste in Elementor 3.11
When it comes to creating websites using Elementor, it is always recommended that you do it on a staging / local website first.
And once you are satisfied with the outcome, you can create and export a JSON file and import it on your site.
This works for both pages and sections as you can save both as Templates in Elementor and then through the template library you can export the JSON file created.
Although this process is not that complicated, however, when compared with our old friend copy and paste, it is kind of long and time consuming.
Also, first time users can face some issues in the beginning.
Keeping this in mind, in Elementor 3.11, a new feature copy and paste has been introduced using which you can easily copy and paste elements from one website to another.
To see this feature in action, you will have to right click on the element that you want to copy and it will show you the option in the menu.
In the next step you will have to again right click in the Elementor editor where you want to add this element on the other site.
And select Paste from another site in the menu.
Doing this will show a prompt to press CTRL + V or CMD + V to paste the element depending on the operating system you are using.
And once done, it will paste the element on the other website.
Now it is important to know that for this feature to work both sites must have Elementor 3.11.
In other words this feature will not work on versions it is not supported on.
Also, if you want to copy and paste a complete page then you will have to select Copy All Content in the right click menu.
And rest of the process is exactly the same.
