And below are the topics covered.
New Accordion Widget
If you have been following the development of Elementor then you must be familiar with the fact that Elementor is releasing new and revamping old widgets to work with Flexbox Container.
In Elementor 3.10, Tabs widget was completely renewed and in Elementor Pro 3.12, new Menu widget was introduced.
A similarity between these widgets is the empty / blank Container that you get using which you can create custom layout / design based on your requirements.
Basically these widgets give you complete control.
Working on the same lines, a newly revamped Accordion widget has been released in Elementor 3.15.
And to see it, the first step is to activate Elementor Flexbox Container feature.
For this you need to head over to Settings under Elementor in your WordPress dashboard.
Doing this will show you all the Elementor settings and here you need to click Features tabs.
On clicking Features, it will show you Flexbox Container under Ongoing Experiments.
And to activate you need to select Active in the dropdown and Save changes.
Keep in mind, on enabling the Container widget, you will no longer find inner section widget in Elementor editor.
In other words you won’t be able to use it, however, you will still be able to edit the existing sections, templates, pages, posts or parts created using it.
Once you are done till here, the next step is to activate Nested Elements in Elementor.
And you will find this feature under Ongoing Experiments as well.
To enable it, you will just have to select Active in the dropdown and Save changes.
After you are done enabling, the next step is to create or edit a post with Elementor.
And doing this will take you to the Elementor editor where you need to search for Accordion widget.
Once found you need to add this widget on the canvas by either dragging and dropping or by clicking on it.
Please note- Adding a widget by clicking is a feature that was introduced in Elementor 3.14.
