What’s new In Elementor Pro 3.11
In our previous article we have touched on the Elementor 3.11 update.
And in this article we will be discussing what’s new in Elementor Pro 3.11.
This update is for the premium version of the Elementor website builder plugin.
And this means you will only be able to use these features if you have a valid Elementor Pro license.
Now coming to this update, in Elementor Pro 3.11, a new widget known as Loop Carousel has been introduced.
And on top of this, Advanced Rules in popups has received an improvement.

Elementor Pro 3.11 update
Before we move forward, it is important to know that Elementor Pro 3.11 was released on February 13th 2023.
And below are the topics covered
Upgrade Swiper Library
The first improvement that has been introduced in Elementor Pro 3.11 is the upgradation of the Swiper Library from version 5.3.6 to 8.4.5.
This infrastructural update is available as an Experiment and enabling it will allow Elementor to introduced new settings and capabilities to all carousels such as
- Loop
- Image
- Slides
- Testimonial
And more.
Keeping this in mind, it is important to know that- this experiment will come active by default on new websites.
And if you are an existing Elementor user then it is recommended that you take a complete backup before enabling.
Alternatively, you can use this on staging or test environment first.
And if everything goes as per plan then you can make / push changes to LIVE.
Having said that,
You will find this experiment under Features in Elementor settings.
And to activate upgrade Swiper Library experiment, you will have to select Active in the dropdown and then Save Changes.
New Loop Carousel in Elementor Pro 3.11
Loop Builder or Loop Grid widget was introduced in Elementor Pro 3.8 and in Elementor Pro 3.11, Loop Carousel has been released.
Using this widget you will be able to display custom listings in an infinite loop instead of a grid.
To see the Loop Carousel widget in action, the first step is to activate Loop experiment in Elementor.
And for that you will have to navigate to Features tab in Elementor Settings where you will find Loop under Ongoing Experiments.
Here you will have to select either Default or Active in the dropdown and save changes.
Doing this will enable Loop Builder in Elementor.
Before we move forward, it is important to know that for using Loop Builder, it is no longer required to activate Flexbox Container in Elementor.
And the reason behind this is, in Elementor Pro 3.9, support for using it with Sections and Columns was added.
Having said that,
Once you are done till here, the next step is to visit Elementor Editor and you will find Loop Carousel under Pro section in the widgets sidebar.
On adding the new Loop Carousel widget, the first thing that you will notice is, it asks you to choose a template type and select or create a template.
It is important to know that, here you will be able to select the template that you have created for Loop Grid widget.
This will simplify the workflow.
After you are done, picking or creating a template for Loop Carousel, it will show you additional options such as
- Number of slides
- Slides to display
- Slides on scroll
- Equal Height
Apart from this you will be able to select
- Autoplay
- Scroll Speed
- Transition Duration
- Direction
And more.
You will find these options under the Settings tab in Loop Carousel widget.
Also, you will be able to choose if you want to enable or disable navigation arrows and can use / upload custom icons as well.
As far as the Style Settings are concerned, you will be able to
- Adjust gap between slides
- Changes size, colors and position of arrows.

Advanced rules in popup

Earlier when you used to create popups, it was required that you enable and disable manually and there was no way available to schedule them.
This has changed in Elementor Pro 3.11 and using this feature you will be able to schedule activation / deactivation of popups with just a few clicks.
To see this feature, you will gave to visit Popup Builder in Elementor and then click Advanced Rules in Save options.
Once you are in the Advanced Rules, you will have to scroll down till you find Schedule Date and Time.
On enabling this option, it will allow you to select Timezone and set start and end time.
It is important to know that by default the Timezone option us set to site.
And this means, it will use the timezone you have selected in Elementor General Settings.

After you are done making this change, make sure to save changes.
