How to create free email account on SiteGround
Looks like you are in need of a custom email address for your online business and thinking if you can create it on SiteGround.
If this is the case then you have come to the right place as we are going to discuss how can you create a free email account on SiteGround easily.
Let me start this tutorial with a question- Have you ever received and email from a reputed business using a regular or free email address such as Gmail, Yahoo or AOL.
The answer in most cases will be NO and the reason behind this is simple, a custom email address lets the users know that your business is legit.
Hence, it helps build trust and reputation.
On the other hand, think about a scenario where after buying a product online you get an confirmation email from the business using an email address like [email protected].
Will be answering or engaging with such as email or will you be cautious in your approach when you see the email address it is sent from.
Here I will confidently say that most of you will have second thoughts about the reputation of the business and will think twice before engaging with it as it can compromise the security and personal information.
Keeping this in mind, it is always recommended that you create a professional email address first before you launch your blog or website.
And in this article we will be discussing how can you create a free email account on SiteGround and configure it with your choice of email client like Gmail or Outlook.
But first things first
What is a custom email address
To understand what exactly is a custom email address or a profession email, lets take a look at 2 different types of email addresses and compare
Before we start the comparison just want to let you know that the example email or any other email used in this article is not working. In case you want to get in touch then you can visit the contact page and send your message using the form.
Having said that,
As you can see in the above example, there are 2 different email addresses and both of them have different domain names associated with them.
First one is created using free Gmail service and therefore has the Gmail domain name while the second one is a custom email address and it has a custom domain name associated with it.
It is important to know anyone can create an email using Gmail as it is a free service. However, until and unless you don’t own the domain name which is in this case BloggingUnplugged.com, you cannot create an email.
And this takes me to the next point which is when anyone can create and send emails using free services then most definitely the service will be used to send junk emails making it less trustworthy.
On the other hand as you are the whole and sole owner of your domain name and no one can create an email on it expect you. This makes the custom email addresses much more safe and trusted, giving your business a professional look.
On top of that, with every email you send, you are also promoting your brand name which is a huge plus.
Before we move forward, it is important to know that Google has a service called GSuite that allows you to create professional email addresses.
Unlike Gmail which is available for free, this service for businesses which means it is a premium service and the owner of the business has full the control over all the resources including emails.
Also, G Suite is a very popular and a pocket friendly service using which you can create professional email addresses easily.
What do you need to create a free email account on SiteGround
