Do you want to disable Flexbox Container in Elementor?
If yes then in this tutorial we have shared the step by step process on how you can do this easily.
If you have been following the development of Elementor then you must be familiar with the fact that Flexbox Container is a feature that was introduced in Elementor 3.6 as an experiment.
And this feature provided a new and better way for users to create layouts using Elementor.
Keep in mind, before Flexbox Container, Inner Section widget was the only option to available to create layouts and as a result of this most sites are still using it.
It is important to know that Inner Section and Flexbox Container are 2 very different paths of building designs with Elementor.
And hence, these cannot be used with each other or interchangeably.
In other words, if you will have Flexbox Container active then you will notice that the inner section widget is missing in Elementor.
And vice versa is true as well which is if inner section widget is active then you will not find Container widget in Elementor.
Now, if you want to get the Inner Section widget back then in this tutorial we have shared how can you disable Flexbox Container in Elementor.
Things to Know before you Deactivate Flexbox Container in Elementor
First things first, after Elementor 3.16 update, the status of Flexbox Container has been upgraded to Stable and now it comes enabled by default.

Also, with Flexbox Container, you get access to quite a few new and revamped widgets and these give you much more control over design.
The gist of the story is Flexbox Container is better than the inner section widget and Elementor is consistently improving widgets and adding new features around it.
And some of these new features only work with the Container widget.
Apart from this, Elementor still lets you edit layouts / designs that you have built using inner section if you have the Flexbox Container active.
